| Final chapter is here and it was a very simple yet wholesome conclusion with Harumi re-affirming his feelings towards Alice and how he never wants to let go of her again till they grow old together, wanting to be with her for life with no regrets and her returning those feelings. Nothing too grand but I loved how open the communication was with each other to be on the same page after feeling inferior through the Tokyo experience. I really liked this manga. It had nice developments, lovely characters, really nice drawings and designs for characters and their expressions, wholesome moments and it never overstayed its welcome. It did not need to ruin itself with too much unnecessary drama to extend the run of the series, nor does it feel incomplete either without the series being able to fulfill its potential. Was a very refreshing and enjoyable read as a whole for me from start to finish. |
| I was really on the boat with the main couple but it felt too rushed imho. Perhaps maybe about 20 more chapters or so would’ve done the trick to make the conclusion feel more impactful. Sucks cause there’s commendable beauty in this story from the physical side of the artwork in the drawings to the conceptual side with the characters and their interactions. I can understand that extending things might’ve possibly drag a lot of things out and sow unnecessary conflict, but for me it still felt like the story needed more breathing room in certain areas. Still a decent time, with that being said. |
