| After finishing the show, Helck is the main character but there really isn't that much focus on him or he didn't much. Even in the last episode, it was Lord Vamirio saved the day. She seems to be the upfront character in most promotion posters while Helck is in the back. He's an interesting character being this lovable big goof... sort of like a Hercules kinda character but aside of few things and the backstory... he didn't do that much throughout. There were more focus on the side characters, the war between humans and demons, Anne, Piwi but then... oh yeah... there's a Helck in this. It's like watching One Piece and all we're focusing on Coby and his journey instead of Luffy. What do you all think? |

| That's literally how it should be. Rather than making Helck get back up on his feet by himself, it is a good plot execution to make others fill that role. Even if we are talking about the whole adaptation, his being like that is enough to satisfy the role of the main character. I would hate to see him being put on a pedestal like many other main protagonist archetypes "just because" he is a protag. We got enough of that from the recent isekai OP protag surge already... |
