It's been a while since I watched the series, but based on what I remember, my impression was that their relationship was a friendship but Kouji also had romantic feelings for her. They would have been fine with getting married to each other if they had a say because he was the only person who ever cared for her up until that point.

no she was so beaten down by her step mother and step sister so couldn't dream of being loved or loving someone until kudou, yurie and hazuki started treating her like a human

if the usuba have act faster miyo may have just did as she was told and not fought to stay with kudou

no they love eachother this anime is different From other romcom all they do is smooching eachother but this is different and that's what makes it special really loved It

I think before meeting Kudo she would have been glad to marry him and eventually she would have fallen in love with him.

But after spending something like a month or two with Kudo + the fact that he saved her from her step mother and sister she was to attached to Kudo

I checked both the novel and manga again. It is very clear that before miyo fell in love kudo, she did love kouji in a romantic way.

I think she loves him as a brother or just a best friend. I believe he was the only one to have romantic feelings for her in that situation
