Would Makoto end up developing feelings for Setsuna?

Had it been Setsuna sitting next to Makoto, and Sekai trying to get Setsuna with Makoto, would how would things end up? Do you think he would have developed feelings for Setsuna? Or still, develop feelings for Sekai?

This question is tricky and depends on some factors. First of all I assume you know how Sekai and Kiora developed feelings for Makoto (explained in a previous post of yours).
Since the entrance ceremony, both Sekai and Kiora's feelings were mutual for Makoto where an entire semester went by where both of them were too shy to confront and confess.
By sheer luck, Sekai was assigned to sit beside Makoto in semester 2 allowing Sekai to get to know him when she was witnessing Makoto practicing the lock screen myth providing her the opportunity to interact with Makoto.

If Kiora was in that position, I feel like Kiora would not be able to execute it as well as Sekai. Makoto genuinely developed feelings for Sekai that were not through lust but due to him being comfortable around her and being able to express his concerns regarding kotonoha to her. Sekai also has a cheerful, friendly and approachable personality which Is why Kotonoha was also comfortable in talking to her. Setsuna doesn't seem to be as expressive and extroverted as Sekai, which Is why I don't think she would have executed the plan as well as Sekai. As the match maker, Sekai did have to initialise most of the conversations when they were having lunch on the rooftop and because of Sekai, Makoto was having a pleasurable time by naturally expressing himself, cracking jokes and sharing lunch. It takes a level of social intelligence to converse with 2 peers that you just recently met, matchmake them together and have an ulterior motive in the background.

Setsuna doesn't get as much screen time so it is difficult to predict whether Makoto would have developed feelings as strong as the feelings he had for Sekai for Kiora instead.
