No they didn't imo. The titan powers existed because of Ymir and the worm in the first place. But, since both are gone now, so there's no reason for titans to exist anymore. And I know, I'm not denying the possibility that there might be another one of those worms who may have survived over the years with the tree growing eventually who knows, but it all depends on what the kid will wish for (if he ever came in contact with one). He definitely won't wish for what Ymir did because he wasn't abused and went inside the forest from his own will accompanied by a dog, unlike what had happened to her.

Not necessarily. Since Ymir only got the Titan power because that is what she wanted. A stronger body.

The boy could gain any power from the Hallucegenia.

And the story not specifying it is the point.
Titans in this story basically represented weapons of mass destruction.

And the point is once a weapon of mass destruction is introduced into the world you can't really get rid of it.

Doesn't matter what form those weapons take.

It's the same with the Hallucegenia. Maybe it'll give the boy Titan powers. Maybe it'll give him something more dangerous and evolved.

But it doesn't matter. What matters is that it's still there.

Ymir doesnt matter anymore. royal blood is not a thing any longer. The circle ended. The boy could be new ymir, which would make his blood royal. And created titans, or something else. It is not like "the life" could create only titans. It could create anything that host need. So yeah, I choose to belive that he started a new cycle. Just like the whole world is at war after war.

They clearly didn’t want to show any more so it’s left for people to interpret it as they want. The titans have nothing to do directly with royal blood. It only happened to fall onto Ymir who had child with the king so it became "linked" with royal blood. But anybody who gets in contact with the source of all life living matter might turn into titans. And maybe the same one or a different one went back under the tree and might transform a new generation.

Imo, as ymir curse was lifted, there is no titian anymore or we can say that the cycle of titan power ended.That worm converts desires into reality, ymir desired for a large,powerful, undying body. Boy might have different desires and therefore will get new type of powers different from titan.
