The official website of the television anime adaptation of Akira Amano's Kamonohashi Ron no Kindan Suiri (Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective) manga announced two supporting cast on Friday.

The anime's 1st season began airing on October 2 at 10:30 p.m. on Tokyo MX, followed by AT-X, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, BS11, TV Aichi, TVQ Kyuushuu Broadcasting, Shizuoka Broadcasting, and TV Hokkaido.

Mylo Moriarty: Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Mob Psycho 100)

Winter Moriarty: Yumiri Hanamori (Jigokuraku)

Shouta Ibata (Domestic na Kanojo) is helming the anime at Diomedéa. Wataru Watari (Isekai Yakkyoku) is handling the series composition and Masakazu Ishikawa (Seijo no Maryoku wa Bannou desu) is designing the characters. You Tsuji (Dantalian no Shoka) is composing the music.

Amano began drawing the detective mystery manga in Shounen Jump+ in October 2020, marking her first weekly serialization since she concluded Katekyo Hitman Reborn! (Reborn!) in November 2012. Shueisha published the 12th volume on October 4.

Shueisha's Manga Plus platform simulpublishes the manga in both English and Spanish.

Why is the second character voiced by Yumiri? Is he androgynous or is she ikemen onna?

@yamiyugi101 Is this show so heavily geared towards a female audience? Reminded me of Moriarty, who also introduced the ikemen onna character at some point. I don't want to say that this is something bad or something like that, just as far as I remember, the author's past shonen also focused on attractive male or masculine characters.

@RobertBobert I honestly couldn't tell you I've read the manga and pretty much everyone is focused on being "good looking" and content wise there's not any weird BL fan service( Ron and ishiki are more or less portrayed as best friends cracking jokes and having fun when there's no cases and the running gag of his obsession with brown sugar syrup) the volume covers try to give Ron some "paint me like one of your French girls" poses I guess for attention but content wise there's a surprisingly little of that there's even a lot of reoccurring female characters

@yamiyugi101 I see, thanks for the answer. I liked the author's past work, so I'm thinking about watching this one someday too.

@RobertBobert I can't speak for the anime because I haven't seen it yet but the manga is fun so If they're following it it should be fun too
