this episode felt bittersweet. rather than focusing on finding out how the movie was found, we see the aftermath of what has happened afterwards. i may be looking a little too into it, but i liked how even though the two directors thought of themselves as rivals filled with envy, they both admired and respected each other as friends as well. while akuma kun is still indifferent as always haha. gremory seems like a fun person (or devil?) too and i hope to see more of her ! ^^

i love this anime (iam watching the italian version). The thing that puzzles me are the themes. devil, summons, demonogy and mature themes, but it has a children's anime style. Why?

@Naxil Check out the 2018 Gegege no Kitaro then. That anime is similarly fucked up, yet also has a similar artstyle, along with similar goofs interspersed throughout some of the most horrid things imaginable. Same creator that made Akuma-kun too, so you might get the same sort of enjoyment from it.

@Naxil
The previous Akuma-kun was an anime for children.

The show comes with this sense of unease whenever it gets the chance. It's not full horror gore or psychological at all but the animation, music and general tone and atmosphere keeps getting more and more creepy. Am I the only one who feels this way?

@Daviljoe193 The thing about that is, their actually both from the same author, so I can see how it'd strike us such.
