And lastly what do you think of the influece of Reki Kawahara/SAO/Accel World in the anime industry? Personally I love it. Cuz without it we wouldn't have masterpieces such as KonoSuba, Mahouka, Mushoku Tensei and Re:Zero. PS. I still hate the sexual assault, tho. |

SAO itself isn't an Isekai. It's a Sci-Fi , Fantasy show, but People misunderstand the Genre. It isn't a harem either. - Don't worry Folks, UNITAL RING is gonna Refresh your memories of Aincrad. It's a New SAO, well not SAO anymore, it's The UNITAL RING. In a Nutshell If I have to give u a gist of it,, it's a Survival Game JUST like S.A.O., but totally opposite of S.A.O.,, yet a lot of complicated stuff going on, hard to describe about, It's all Merged and Messed up, with everyone's level Dropped back to lv1. It'll hold onto the Dark plot and High stakes we had on Alicization, although it has a slow start you'll be pleased with the Fights. Even tho it still has the typical Isekai anime stuff, you'll notice at the very beginning but It'll take sharp turns as the story progresses, so rest assured for now,, because the story has got the best plot in the series so far (aside Alicization) - (Just one hell of a Request I have. Please Turn the Progressive Volumes into a series instead. Please For Gods sake, Stop making SAO Progressive Movies with such poor execution. The story is still closest to the novels and so much better than what you'd actually expect from SAO. But the movies are very poorly executed, 1st one was still decent even tho Episode 2 executed the Boss Fight Scene better than the Movie,, and the 2nd one, which was my favourite floor vol, turned into shit :( |

| Sao was my sixth anime ever and I watched it all the way through aliczation. (Before the war arc season 2 and the two progressive movies) and it will always hold a special place in my heart. I get all the reasons it’s hated and that “it would’ve been good if they stayed on eincrad” but nonetheless to me it is a masterpiece and I will always treasure this series. |
| I watched all of it outside the recent movie I need to watch. I love the series a lot and even all the non mobile games. Still in between Last Recollection. Glad it hit the 3 million milestone. I actually really like the sexual villains since it establishes their goals more than a lazy villain evil for no reason. In fact, the overall lack of sexuality on most villains in anime come off as very bizarre. My fav dude is Bercouli My fav girl is Philia Not counting gameverse Best girl Alice |

So hating on SAO for only those assault scenes is ridiculously stupid unless you're very sensitive. And It's okay if u r, i can understand why u feel unsettling. But if u aren't, then here, Because the same thing, .... No.... even worse happens in popular shows n even recently like Fate, Goblin Slayer, Idaten Deities, Heavenly Delusion, but people ignore saying it adds up to the plot which is Very Much Not True. Many other franchises sexualise stuff, some in even worse techniques like Fate, and y'all consume it like toffees. This show has flaws, tons of it, n a few major ones, but this isn't one of them. And it has also got strong Points, strong enough to defend itself. So stop copy pasting popular review stuff, if you haven't got ur own reason for it. Drop it. State ur own reasons, why u dislike the whole show for. That would be much better and acceptable, and I would like something real,, because every time I hear people blindly hate on SAO after seeing the reviews of those unemployed AniTubers makes me sick. |

I said that mushoku tensei is depraved stuff and so hating the tame s/a in SAO and calling MT a masterpiece is contradictory. But here you are giving us SAO fans a reputation, good job. I still like the series a lot, but if someone says "SAO is not that good" or "it is not a masterpiece" or points out what I just did, I'd be totally fine with it. | Watched all the seasons and the first spin off movie. First season was 10/10, all others 8/10 including movie. Didn't have a chance to check original source. Favs are Asuna and Kirito. I think influence was great, but still I find a lot isekai anime that I just skip, and I think they're forcing mentioned genre too much in recent years. |
