| Just finished this and I found it very moving. A great companion piece to GOGO Monster, which unravels with a similar structure. Taiyo Matsumoto's painterly style is so good here — especially the raw sketchy appearance of the worlds inside the paintings. I also thought it was very sweet to add a part with Jiro Taniguchi at the end, who passed away just a couple of months before Cats of the Louvre finishing publishing. A really lovely tribute. |
