'Chiyu Mahou no Machigatta Tsukaikata' Reveals Additional Cast, Staff

This show got me thinking. Why do so few anime use mature female characters outside of some oneesan fanservice?

@RobertBobert The mature woman you see in the picture is 25 (unless you are not talking about her age) . But she is very mature even though she is so young , more mature than most characters in the story. Also there is nothing wrong with oneesan fanservice as long it is done correctly ....

@Yubisoft Considering the conventional average age of anime characters, a 25-30 year old woman is already a milf. But all jokes aside, I wonder why there are so few shows with important oneesan characters.

@RobertBobert The only reason I can think of is probably because women that are mature(because of either their age or type of character) are not that interesting for people or interesting enough to attract a big costumer base and that is very disappointing . Or maybe because the tastes of the anime/manga fanbase are becoming less and less refined aka the tastes are becoming more and more crap each year .
