No not really.
It’s extremely repetitive and childish in some parts.
Also the villains are very stupid, and the ending is so dumb and makes no sense.

Definitely a hidden masterpiece.

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

I concur. Season 1 is great you will definitely enjoy it. Season 2 was badly paced and spent too much time introducing characters who ended having no significant bearing on the plot. I encourage you to watch season one and for the purpose of preserving a good experience, leave season 2 be.

Yes, it's a pretty decent anime, with a fresh take on Sherlock and Moriarty dynamics. Season 1 scores higher than 2, but it's still worth watching.

A. You should now it's not a Suspense Mystery show where someone has to decode the clues like Sherlock. it's more of a show about clever plans and executions
B. The show is fine overall but not something that is really exciting or something that you can't miss so keep it in mind before tuning in

I just started it last week on a friend's recommendation. I really like it a lot. Conceptually it feels similar to death note minus the fantasy elements and the never-ending back-and-forth between rivals. A really great eat-the-rich drama.

Idk, I dropped it after cour 1, so I can’t speak for the second half, but it feels like Sherlock Holmes fan fiction. There’s only so many times that anime can do the “incredibly smart dude trying to play ridiculous mind games with another incredibly smart dude” without feeling like the same thing all over again. It feels more like a poor man’s death note than an ACD story.

That being said, thats just my opinion. You might feel differently.

This is one of the few animes that I watched that I hated, I watched about half of it and found it cheesy and unintelligent for its genre. To avoid giving spoilers, it's like it built up, then finishes with something stupid then all the characters act like it's smart.

I can't say to much about the characters, as I never got attached to them. Just wasn't up for the whole tragic backstory thing.

I'm sure the anime is okay, but since it's not really my genera and I found it poorly witten I personally couldn't stand it.

If you liked the BBC Sherlock series then you will probably like this, though it can be too over the top sometimes compared to other Sherlock adaptations. The depiction of Moriarty is also similar to Jim Moriarty in the BBC series.
