Anime better than Manga

I got a copy of the first manga volume of this, I read it and wasn't too impressed with it. It reminded me of Ouran Highschool Host Club a lot. I didn't try to find a second volume cause I was bored with it already. But I gave it a second shot after I found out an anime adaption exists. First off, I'm loving the striped bottoms, it added a lot more for me. The opening is by the same people who did Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku opening, I love it. The story still seems similar to Ouran Highschool Host Club's, but I like how its unravelling different than the manga. The manga was far too slow paced and repetitive. The anime adaption I think is way better due to the pacing and less repetitive so it seemed less annoying. This is the first anime adaption where I've read the manga and enjoyed the anime far more.

Well it's based off a novel so that could have something to do with it. Based off Mal's scores, the manga has a much lower than the novel and anime's so it seems your not the only one disappointed with the manga's adaptation of the story
