Yoshinori Odaka (Bem) helms the anime at Shin-Ei Animation and SynergySP. Midori Gotou (Subarashiki Kono Sekai The Animation) is handling the series composition and Tomomi Shimazaki (Youkai Apartment no Yuuga na Nichijou) is designing the characters. Nobuaki Nobusawa (Kanata no Astra) is composing the music. The anime adapts Yuu Morikawa's comedy manga which began serialization on the Gangan pixiv website on December 2018. Square Enix shipped the fourth volume on February 22. Square Enix Manga & Books licensed the manga for physical release in English on March 16 and released the first volume on August 15.
