'Shinigami Bocchan to Kuro Maid' Gets Third Anime Season in 2024

The 12th and final episode of the Shinigami Bocchan to Kuro Maid 2nd Season (The Duke of Death and His Maid Season 2) television anime announced a third anime season on Sunday. The television anime is scheduled to premiere in 2024.

J.C.Staff produced the 12-episode first anime season in Summer 2021. A second anime season aired in Summer 2023. Funimation streamed both the first and second anime with subtitles as it aired in Japan.

The anime series adapts Koharu Inoue's romantic comedy manga, which was serialized in Sunday Webry from October 2017 to May 2022. Shogakukan shipped the 16th and final volume in July 2022. The manga has a cumulative 1.8 million copies of its volumes in circulation.

Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English in July 2021. The eighth volume went on sale on September 12, and the ninth volume is scheduled to be released on November 14.

Heck yeah! I was hoping for a 3rd Season. Wasn’t expecting an announcement so soon. And it’s coming next year. Can't wait.

Hopefully Tonikaku Kawaii will also get a Season 3 announcement very soon.

CGI isn't even that visually offensive in this show, it just looks like usual anime visuals with lower FPS and different shading. Y'all act like every CGI-animated show is like the atrocity that was the 2016 Berserk or Ex-Arm, it's really not noticeable at all.
