First off, I'm watching on a weekly english dub release schedule so episode 10 was that latest release. Not that any of that matters unless he or one of his party has an epiphany. SO. Ryota's 2nd spell, the one with literally no use unless it's too get his friends rare drops in Niphonium. I mean he gave a whole presentation to show and explain that; 1. He has to cast the spell before he attacks, 2. The person it's being cast on temporarily acquires his S tier drop rate.

Taking on the new girl with a level 2 cap similar to his own level 1 cap felt like it was heading in the right direction, after all he just learned a spell so he could do the same for others. Then he takes her to Niphonium, it's never stated that the more difficult monsters of niphonium give any extra experience points so there is no point going there unless it's to farm skill seeds, right??? Then he has here clear a Mob of enemies but the moron never casts his spell.

I figured that this was the whole point of the episode, whether you were able to see the potential from the point he explained it or you eventually got there when it was borderline spelled out for us. Everyone must have come to a similar conclusion. Sometimes he seems of at least of avg. intelligence but man what a drop the ball moment. If this isn't the point of this episode what is. From the beginning I thought his whole crew would be runnin around with S tier everything so this is surprising so far

That is an interesting point that his teammates could get skill point seeds from enemies if he uses his second spell.
Actually I haven't fought of that because no person other than him could pick up those seeds. Usually when things drops everyone can pick it up, even if you are not the one that killed the monster.
So the question is would this spell allow other people to pick up the seeds when they would still use ryota s rank drop rates.
I think he chooses nihonium because she thought that maybe she had the same drop rate skill as him and because of that her level is so low.
Also and I am not sure but monsters there are a lot stronger than for example telulu so they probably gives more exp and there are a lot of them.
Another reason could be that he wanted her to farm there because there are no normal drops, if he would go for other dungeon you would need to take all the drops with yourself and that means you can't just keep killing monsters until you level up, because you would just left a horde of strays.

I thought they explained what the point of the spell was when he used it. It was to allow other members of his party to level up by killing monsters while not sacrificing the epic drops they would get if Ryota killed them himself.

He didn't need to cast the spell he already maxed out his stats(health) on the first floor.

Edit: Also we already learned that he is the only one able to pick up and see the seeds.

Well first things first I believe that the latest episode was more an introduction of the newest member of his party and to get her away from someone who was just going to leave once they learned she couldn't break the level cap. I also believe that it was to show not just that Ryota learned magic but to show what the newest member could bring to the group as well.

Ryoto gets magic seeds, the princess gets boxes of 'air', and new girl gets tamed monsters. I don't think you're meant to think about it too much, for example: why did she just stop at getting one skeleton? surely a skeleton army that can also shrink in size, would be useful to a level 2?

I expected the same when he took her to that dungeon. But tbh I also was confused at that point why would he reveal his secret, that iirc he didn't even tell his party members about, to some girl he just met.
