| We get callbacks to past events, reexploring the concept of other people's perception of your work. It stays relevant and doesn't seem repetitive, instead, it flows naturally. Tatsuhiko checking out a film and seeing how the other moviegoers responded to it made him feel unsure and insecure about his current project. That inner struggle is portrayed beautifully through the medium, this chapter, in particular, highlights even more creative paneling from Fujita-sensei, especially with how the flashback panels are recalled. I love the little things especially. Visual storytelling is really strong in this manga, one for this chapter being how our boy Tatsu was last to leave the cinema. Also, I really love Tatsuhiko's little smiles. He does it a lot whenever he's walking, looking down. It's cute af. |
