 The official website of the Seijo no Maryoku wa Bannou desu Season 2 (The Saint's Magic Power is Omnipotent Season 2) revealed three supporting cast, two new staff, and the first promotional video on Wednesday. The second anime season adapting Yuka Tachibana's slice of life fantasy light novel will premiere on October 3 at 11:00 p.m. on AT-X, followed by Tokyo MX, MBS, and BS11. Streaming platform Lemino will also debut the anime beginning October 4. Cast Oscar Dunkel: Ryouta Oosaka (Shinobi no Ittoki) Tenyuu: Chiaki Kobayashi (Jigokuraku) Seiran: Shinichiro Miki (Tensei shitara Ken deshita) Scott MacDonald (Kenja no Deshi wo Nanoru Kenja) is replacing Tomoyasu Hosoi as the art director. Katsuhiro Kawano (Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken 2nd Season) is the new music producer, replacing Terushige Yoshie. The promotional video below previews the opening theme "Semisweet Afternoon" by Aira Yuuki. Aina Suzuki is performing the ending theme "Lilac Melody." Shouta Ibata (Domestic na Kanojo) is returning to direct the second season at Diomedéa. Wataru Watari (Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. original creator) and Masakazu Ishikawa (Aho Girl) are are once again handling the series composition and character designs, respectively. The first season aired in 12 episodes in Spring 2021. Funimation simulcast the anime with subtitles and subsequently streamed an English dub. Tachibana began penning the novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in April 2016.
