So this specials will air on japanese TV and crunchyroll tomorrow/today
But they will separate the episode in 2 parts, one part airing tomorrow/today and the other part airing next week
But in the Mal site/app there's only 1 episode (because it Aired was a movie first in Japan)
So I was wondering if Mal will change it from 1 to 2 "episodes" when it airs, We won't be able to put it on our list tomorrow because we only have the 1 episode option..

According to Wikipedia, it will be airing from Sep 2nd to Sep 9th as separate parts.

Yes. One tomorrow/today and the other next week
But Mal only have only 1 episode on this series..
Its kinda confusing because the Kaguya sama movie it's separated in 4 episodes but in mal they count it was just 1
But in the zoku Owarimonogatari movie it's separated in 6 episodes and mal counts the movie was the 6 episodes and not just 1...
The episode list depends a lot of the series, since this one is airing in different weeks I was wondering if they would keep it like this or change it to 2 episodes..

Simplest way is to add it to watching when you watch the first part and just complete it when you watch the second part. Essentially you're just watching half of it anyway and the only difference really is if you use something that tracks how much you watch daily, but in terms of Mal itself nothing would change.

They changed it to 2 episodes now

It is 2 episodes 24 min each (48 min total)

Why MAL page say 2 episodes and 1 hour duration !!!
