Loved season one of this anime but don’t have a clue what happened in season 2. Put in the fact that we've been on a 5 month break, I'm so lost. If anyone could briefly recap or if there's an official recap like how aniplex did a mini recap of Nier

Any insight would be welcome.

I would suggest watching the 6 episodes (again) because at times recaps can't easily cover the details of such animes with lore from past and lore about species and other plot heavy things. Not that I know of any recap either as of now.

Recapping it here might take a while but I am not a guy who can articulate things well so better if someone else does it I hope. If not then I shall try

I agree. Enjoyed first season. The 2nd is stupidly difficult to follow. All these names and places and swords can't keep track of them. I just went and read a synopsis of all the episodes from season 2 and still only kinda got it. They kinda ruined rhis series.
