Is Belle Delphine one of the great creative minds of our time. That is a very good question and here to debate this topic is myself and good friend Shosa. Shosa: I honestly don’t like Belle Delphine HoloisHolo: Lol that's ok. Belle is misunderstood, but I feel I understand her S: Could you help me maybe understand? H: Belle is a performance artist and one of the great creative minds of our time S: In what ways? What has she done that’s as or more creative than A Song of Ice and Fire or any of Christopher Nolan’s films, for example? Not trying to attack, I’m genuinely curious, calling someone a great creative mind of our time is a bold claim is all lmao H: She is the OG thot. So many of these thots are trying to replicate Belle but only Belle is Belle. Even the look some them try to replicate like Waifumiia. Doing the Ahegao. That was Belle. But only Belle can do it the best S: Sure, it’s smart, I’ll give her that, but I still don’t think it’s worthy of the title “one of the great creative minds of our time” Deciding to emulate hentai girls irl isn’t that creative H: Within our modern era and within the realm of the internet, I would say yes. Seeing her interviews you can tell Belle is very calculative and strategic in her moves. And I for one am turned on by such pragmatism S: So you’d liken her methods and achievements to that of the Nolan brothers? (I’m going to use them as examples because there is so much material to draw on) H: Marketing genious takes great creativity and that is Belle. Belle layed the foundation for the thots to do what they do S: It does, I agree, and I respect that; however, I still don’t see how it compares to the likes of Westworld, Interstellar, or anything like that. Those shows and movies are objectively masterclass and timeless epics H: Why do you think they're masterclass and how do they make you feel S: The level of intellect, attention to detail, understanding of human nature, skill with writing, skill with character creation and development, the sheer ambition and the ability to achieve it, the ability to skillfully balance the whole picture with each minute individual detail, etc etc are what define Christopher Nolan as one of the greatest directors of our time and his films as masterclass In Interstellar alone, he pioneered new ways to depict and understand black holes. He draws on philosophy and real-life science to create a breathtaking visual spectacle with heart-wrenching humanity H: Although the only ones of these I've seen is Dark Knight. I would agree with you, and trust your opinion on this. But Belle within the world of the internet shares similarities in such qualities, let me explain S: There are levels of creativity and respect to be warranted so I’m curious as to how Holo is going to explain Belle Delphine as being on a similar level as Christopher Nolan, even across the art forms of marketing versus filmmaking. Yes, marketing can be an art form and I respect it, but CN is on a whole nother level It’s like saying gramma’s fudge is one of the tastiest things and saying it’s on the same level as a soufflé made by a master chef. The fudge is fucking good, for sure, and worthy of respect and admiration, but it isn’t the soufflé (idk much about soufflé I just know it’s hard to make and people like it lmao H: Belle has all these qualities in her content. Here's the first example. The level of intellect stems from her creative abilities to not just make sexy content that is sexy but it is groundbreaking content that makes us really think and actually is a critique on modern issues. When we first see Belle transition to a cow/farm girl from drinking milk and she's wearing a Make Thots great again hat, you think it's just silly sexy cow/farm girl outfit. But in actuality it's a critique on the fanatic support for public figures. Using the extreme-religious fanaticism of Trump supporters as an example. Belle is telling her fans to not be crazy like that. It is cringe. And Belle has a great understanding of human nature from her content S: I can respect that. That definitely does take a certain level of creativity and intelligence to incorporate symbolism into your work in any way Can that be held to the same standard as CN’s work and achievements? He incorporates symbolism and foreshadowing into every tiny detail for multibillion dollar movies that span 3-4 hours apiece. Again, I understand that you really admire and respect BD (and are horni for her 🤣) I still don’t see how her skill and achievements are on the same level as someone like CN. CN has the same skills she has to a much greater extent along with many many more skills Someone being skilled =/= someone being a master BD is skilled, CN is a master H: Yes it can. Belle's video here has great symbolism in the transition of women turning into e-girls/thots and it foreshadows the rise countless numbers of them. S: Again, I respect it, but she’s gramma’s fudge and Interstellar is the soufflé H: Both are revolutionary S: But one is significantly more far reaching and uses greater skill than the other I loooove my gramma’s fudge, like I will sell my soul for it But both I and she know it isn’t something made by a professional, and it doesn’t have to be It is perfectly okay to enjoy both But the quality and skill put into it is vastly different H: Belle I would say has many naturally gifted skills S: Naturally gifted will never measure up to natural skill and decades spent mastering your craft and making some of the greatest movies of all time H: I would say Belle spent atleast a decade in training, due to her knowing how the internet works since she said she basically used to live on the internet S: I’m not trying to dunk on her, I only want to give credit where it’s due She is due hundreds of thousands of dollars in credit and CN is due literal billions (The debate would eventually venture off into talking about fucking in space) |
