| Aya is blessed to have two people who treat her with such respect and care. If it wasn't for those two, her fate could be the stuff of nightmares. Imagine being immortal, unable to die, but then something happened to your two dear companions. Say they were killed in a conflict. You can do nothing but sit there. I imagine the hot sun would get unbearable. Now, if you were abandoned in a forest, the leaves would fall on top of you and gradually stack up, decaying. To the point you could no longer breathe and are just perpetually suffocating, unable to pass on. A similar horror is falling into some water. She also mentioned parts of her could be consumed, like her eyes. Animals and insects would have a buffet. Because of this, she's very brave to have handled her situation so confidently and with good humor. |
