Why can't Ariel take a person or two, run with them to the destination at speeds they'd bear, and then return for the rest and repeat? Or pack them all into a carriage of sorts, take it on her back, and travel fast this way? The journey would take weeks tops, not years. Is it explained somewhere and I've skipped it or will it be? I'm currently at the start of Misty Mystic Mountains.

One of their main reason was not to let anyone know about their identity. Imagine a little girl carrying a big man and running at a high speed, how suspicious it would be.

I think that would word for White but at the time Mera and Sophia were far too weak to handle the travel speed imo

@Nebus789 white was the weakest of them all at that point, since it was short after she lost all her powers through deification.
