Does anyone actually like this anime?

I have tried to watch this show for a couple of months now, and im still having trouble finishing it so, this is a question for all of those who like this anime, do u ACTUALLY like this show ot did u even enjoyed watching this garbage?

First of all, do anyone like those small annoying slimes that always reacts amazed at the protagonist after he does anything? The way they act so hype and energetic is so irritating in my oppinion. Slimes could be great to have in a isekai story if done correctly, take campfire cooking in another world or reincarnated as a slime, they both have slims in them and are decent animes (ofc, in one of them the slime is the mc).

spoilers from the anime:

so my point is, the mc which is emo and gloomy, becomes supper op out of the blue and has to defete an evil, demon summoning cult.
The story telling is trash and pridictable while the characters/pets are like tenage actors on a low budget film while also being rlly annoying.

nothing about this anime has ever given me any hype moments or anything that i will remember as a "decent" scene. i didnt enjoy a single moment of this anime.

To be fair about the suddenly OP thing, I do think the adaptation skipped a ton of content from the beginning, most likely hoping to hook people in the beginning. Personally, this wasn’t great to me either but watching them is a guilty pleasure of mine so

tbh I didn't hate it & I enjoyed it not at once but slowly slowly like when you start watch 2 Anime's, I prioritize the main 1 then the 2nd one.
& this Anime comes as 2nd one

so the adaptation just didnt add the begining? tbh, that is exactly what makes me hooked, when the sudden death acures, then he explores and has trouble fighting, then get better and better, THAT is what makes me hooked. not whatever thing they did.
i wouldnt say the anime has failed 100% only mlre like 99%, the animation was decent :D

Dunno about the anime, but the manga is like SL if you rushing into the part when SJW is op af already. Basically generic power fantasy isekai + harem that's not cute girls.

as an isekai meatrider, this show was the most boring thing I've ever watched. the MC has no personality and neither do any characters, he's just doing random shit and it's incredibly bland. waste of my time on Earth

generic power fantacy anime, yeah! however there was no harem in this anime, only slimes.

I love generic isekai with OP protagonists, but this show was the embodiment of mediocre. It was annoying at first because the MC had zero personality. I kept watching, thinking surely he'll have some character growth and at least not be so boring. I kept watching, and it never happened. Nothing ever got any better. I realized by the end that I just wasted my time on a crap show.

i agree with every word u just wrote down. i also rlly like OP protagonists, however thwy have to have some sort if personality or character growth as u sayed, i also rlly like when we see the protagonist get from week to OP

I really liked it. A bit more than I expected to, tbh.

Personally, I would consider it to be the most generic isekai anime that I’ve watched (well, maybe tied with Isekai Cheat Magician) But unlike Isekai Cheat Magician, I didn’t find this one to be boring at all, for some weird reason.

I enjoyed watching the mc travel from town to town, meeting new people and solving problems for them. I thought the slimes were cute and funny (and quite literally the only remotely “creative” aspect to this show). The show was extremely predictable, but I found comfort and entertainment in its predictability. And lastly, the action was surprisingly cool.

So overall, I’d say it was just a relaxing and fun show. A 7/10 per my own personal enjoyment.

I watch every trash isekai that comes out (maybe not every single one, but a lot), and yeah this wasn’t very good, but I’ve also seen a lot worse. After watching a lot of isekai, things like this aren’t that hard to get through.

Overall it’s a 5/10 imo. Nothing special, generic MC, generic villain cult. Is what it is.

tbh isekai cheat magician wasnt good, but it wad alot better than this show in my oppinion. i understand how thag OP thing is awsome sometimes, but only, if done correctly. take, reincarnated as a slime, misfit of demonking acadamy or even isekai cheat magician (havnt watched it in years, so i donr remmeber if it was amazing or trash, i just know that i could watch through the whole anime without stopping). all tjeese animes have OP protagonists and are decent shows. reincarnatated as a slime i awsome because we see the mc progress and level up, it is also because of its hype scenes with great music. non of these animes have a demon summoning cult to slay (exept misfit of demon king acadamy season 2 which is trash). about the slime thing, again, it can be awsome, if done correctly, however this anime rlly didnt. the only thing they were actually goos at was to spy, not to fight. sure, some people might like the slimes, the way they act and talk, they keep praising him and everything. i mean i used to be a dub watcher, however after a while i saw how annoying the voices were. i mean, i cant rlly talk cus Rem is one of my waifus... ehhh, so is Ram. thank you for explaining and helped me understand why u enjoyed this anime. :)

Honestly is one of my least favorites that I have watched. The story was predictable and strained. The only thing I really liked about the anime was the OP and the art style was alright.

yeah i agree, i usually like when the mc is OP except gor this anime, i just feel like they fidnt rlly bother finding a unique way of making him OP. the animation was decent so that is about the only thing i csn give it vredit for.

It was enjoyable and straightforward. We get chill creative mode spell caster that can combo and make new skills who is OP af. We have cute little constant awe slimes. A whiny wolf as comedy relief that can do shit if actually tries. Fun fantasy world with all the tropes.

It's 6/10 anime. Fun enough, first half I rated 7 but then It kinda go repetitive. Kinda wish MC would have made more new spells and combos and such. But he is basically spam caster.

I don't typically checks on threads like these as I usually kept my own opinion for myself, but boy I can't stand this anime, dropped it at episode 10. I'm 2 episodes short to finish this but no. I watched tons of other bad isekais too, but this one? I just... can't. I hate the way the MC wanting to avoid getting seen as someone strong (so that no one rely on him, he just wants to have a slow life, right?) but constantly shows he's more than just capable to do basically everything to almost everyone he met.

What grinds my gears the most is how somehow he's always in the location where the cult about to do something evil and accidentally thwarted their ingenious plans by spamming the same spell over and over. "My MP is minus? Meh who cares, I'll just brute force my way out."

Also, why is it no one seemed to bothered that there's an evil cult actively doing evil things everywhere??? Is there a... idk, a king, or something that governs their world? Is there absolutely no one tasked to keep the peace in their world? Why did the cult decided to do their evil deeds when Yuji got transported? What were they doing a few weeks back? It was mentioned that Yuji was to be summoned a few years after the summoning spell, and yet the cult only became active when Yuji arrived lol It's like they were made simply for the story to show off how powerful our MC is.

With all that being said, it's not a bad starter anime if you're new in the industry. They kept the story simple and linear so nothing should confuse you if you were to miss out on some details. I find the slimes pretty cute, but sadly there's barely any interaction at all with them (unlike some animes with slimes like Grace of the Gods or Cooking in Another World where the MC shown their affection towards their partners/pets). Unfortunately Yuji, the MC, is too bland. The only he showed interest is when he's eating good food which I find... weird. It's not an anime about food, and yet he was so excited over it to a point he describes the food the way Shokugeki no Souma does?
