| Even though it's been awhile since the anime aired, it's so refreshing again to see everyone and their personalities again. Animation quality remained pretty much similar to the previous season. Seeing Hori making memories with her friends is so charming though. Hori is still the same Hori as I had remember. Not going to lie, I think this episode was also quite amusing with some of its goofy moments. Remi also looks great this season so far. |

| Horimiya is back, somehow… though it’s kind of hilarious how we didn’t have a two cour back then, and they just concluded the whole thing by heck even adapting the last chapter in that last episode. That was just a glorified advertisement for manga in the end lol. Now two and a half years later, we’re back with the contents which didn’t make it into the first season back then. And we started with one of the earlier chapters (?) I guess, the school trip to Kyoto. Can be wrong as I barely remember anything, but this went with a kind of familiar feel in the end. I mean you on a school trip… japanese customs mean boys gonna take a bath together, naked at that… and then there is Miyamura with half of his body ink-marked lmao. Needless to say he didn’t bathe together. Ishikawa being the buddy helped him, though not in a way that’d earn him some good points. Period jokes aside, Hori helped him. Though hey you don’t let a guy into your room just like that ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) , and that applies to you TOO Miyamura, especially if you take interest in cosplaying. I’m just glad to see the boys as well as the girls back, living the very best out of their high school life. Banters on school uniforms to pool cleaning, these guys just have the right chemistry. Would be glad if we get more of the friendships, I mean we already covered the romance aspect back in the original thing. Fine OP and ED, but the original ones back in first season were impossible to top anyways. Also that thing about wearing a layer of clothes to hide how skinny you are, I get that. |

| HERO's Horimiya is back, though to fill in the blanks that have been left out of the Winter 2021 anime. Why couldn't they have done it earlier... Omoinotake's OP and Ami Sakaguchi's ED is fine...I pretty much preferred the original season's OST. The class trip to Kyoto, and Yuki's feeling energetic, though this was Miyamura's cause of concern because he still had his long hair and tattoos at the end of the day. Shu is even more energetic that he bought souvenirs on the first day, yelp. The problem him with extends to the fact that he, Miyamura and Ishikawa are all sharing a room, though he would not want to go to the common bath, because like Hori, he knows the reason as well, and gives the lamest excuse that he's on his period. Going for broke, yeah sure. This is brought to Hori, and she aids him in using the girls' room's bath, though thankfully Yuki didn't see any of it. Hori allowed Miyamura to do so not just because of the emergency, but that their feelings are calling out to each other. Oh well, this was just a case of close calls. Remi drenching Miyamura, and he has no choice but to make a change of clothes, though she doesn't know about his body tattoo. Though Ishikawa presents him with a list of help items, one which includes the sailor uniform, and their argument is overheard by Sengoku, which got shot by them debating about sailor uniform or blazers. And from that point on, it becomes discernable talk between the boys, which Hori happened to overhear. Both Sengoku and Miyamura fighting with their English teacher Yasuda-sensei about the mandatory pool session, and they are desperately trying to avoid it, though Mitamura is the more legit reason with his period lols. But whatever it is, he can talk to the other teachers to get them out of the situation, but Sasaki-sensei is not being easy on them both. Even though Yasuda-sensei is their messiah, he's not spared on other issues either. More than enjoying Horimiya again, time to branch out the episodic chapters adapted! |

| it's so good to have Horimiya back I loved watching it weekly back in 2021 when it was airing never thought we'd receive more anime adaptations for it seeing as it skipped a lot and jumped to the end pretty good first ep cant wait for more |

| I know tattoos are taboo in Japan but so much trouble over a tattoo seems like a real deal. He could just have mentioned against the teacher he had one seeing the behaviour and personality of that teacher i doubt he would have made a deal out of it. Still the part in the bath dressing room was funny. Also the sailor uniform part was great. |
| Still gives off the same old vibes. Feels Nostalgic. The animation and songs are awesome. I'm relieved that it'll deliver weekly wholesomeness for quite a while. More excited to see the chemistry of the other characters and ofc more Horimiya. |

| Just the first episode and it was peak! Serafuku vs blazer, I would choose seifuku. But, honestly, both of them are looking good. |

| Comedy was good in the first episode but I barely remembered who was who beside the two main characters, so everything was a bit confusing. I guess the chaotic order of the episodes will make this less enjoyable than it would have been if they have made a proper two seasons adaptation of the manga. It felt like as if I was watching an OVA. |

| Graduation is always such a unique occasion. Kyoto as the class trip huh excellent choice. Pretty catchy and chill opening theme. Going for broke and confusing the hell out of people sure make a good pair. Remi's on the case lol. The swim convo was damm hillarious. Pool day sure looked fun though. Summer season sure started with one hell of a banger of an anime. Nice to see the gang again. |

| Didn't had any expectations with this season as it is literally just covering the left out chapters. But I gotta say seeing all the characters after all this time, it is better than I expected. If only the studio would not rush in the previous season and actually adapt the manga chapters in the chronological order. |
| Expectations were low since this was a return for a series that already was complete and were adapting missing content that still didn't add much value. Definitely had its boring parts but wasn't terrible either, helped that there wasn't any forced drama involved here and focused more on the comedic route with Miyamura surrounded by chaos about his tattoo situation the whole time. Can imagine the flow of this series is going to be messy since they are going back and adapting various skipped chapter portions, first part of the episode being before Miyamura even had his haircut. There was one thing that I could relate to in this episode though. During a school trip that I went with my friends to India nearly a decade back, me and someone had to share a room together at the hotel, and before I could get inside with my stuff, he fell asleep inside. Took an hour of knocking on the door loudly to be able to get in, not the best day I had that time. Can sort of empathize with Miyamura and Ishikawa there. |
| It's interesting how they adapted this show. 13 episodes to cover the entire 125 chapter manga. Then, two years later, another 13 episodes to fill in the gaps. |

| Horimiya is back and it is still as cute as ever. I enjoyed the last season a lot. So... I'm looking forward to this one as well. Can't wait for more. Both the OP and ED are nice as well. |

| It somehow returned and I'm really glad. Horimiya was one of first anime I started watching on weekly basis. Funny 1st ep, it's been only 2 yr and still feels little nostalgic really good to see those vibrant hair colored characters back. |

| Good to have horimiya back, I’ll never forgive them for butchering that first season, but this was a good start to this anthology series. The slice of life aspects and side characters are really the best part of horimiya, so finally having them get their due is nice. Production quality just as good as the first season, that humour and banter that we’ve come to love is still intact, very solid episode. Miyamura using his period as a way out of swimming is hilarious. |

| what a great start to the summer 2023 anime season. i really missed these characters, so it's nice to see them again. i could not handle myself everytime miyamura 'being on his period' was brought up. they're all so funny. i can't wait for the rest of the show |

| Nice to see Horimiya returning for more, but why couldn't they do this earlier with the original anime in 2021? It'll certainly be quite disjointed for sure, similar to the situation around Ranking of Kings. That said, the first episode was still good, with more of the comedy that made Horimiya a solid series in the first place. Not gonna lie though, I don't remember much from the first season. |
