| One of if not the worst chapter of this Manga... After teasing about Kasumi's older sister since and only from the first chapter, where we're introduced with Kasumi's hate for games because her sister always won with penalty of chores or whatever to the loser... we finally get some form of appearance from her... but through an awkward phone exchange with Hanako and Olivia, while Kasumi was "drowned" in a kiddie pool (which we only learn in the end) because for whatever reason they're seemingly role playing (along with the sister afterwards) of Kasumi's death throughout multiple alternate realities... unless this was first introduced in that chapter where she did fall into a river... probably that. Followed by an awkward debate of caring or certainty whether she's dead or not, the sister believing it's her fault, to then Kasumi getting out and angrily yelling that she hates her... Awful chapter. I really wonder if it kinda got axed during the last 3 volumes because a portion after the new cast was introduced, the story and plots have become nonsensical while the main cast has been neglected. I like that Hanako dislikes Aozora for only being friendly with Kasumi though, but aside from that, nothing new, and just shit. It's sad how the trio and their relationship has developed, along with the weird focus of the new cast out of the main, and changing the comedy style. This Manga was great (8/10) until the last 3 volumes. Now it's around a 6-7. I think it deserves a 7 at least since it was great before, but maybe not if the finale is horrendous and disgraceful. What a shame. |
