| It so lovely to have a story where they don't use cheap ploys to create false drama. For instance, there is a moment in this chapter briefly where there could be conflict between the two main characters because she wants to ask him about something and he might get upset. I feel like in the typical manga nowadays, they would spend a whole volume on this. She is too shy, and he will get upset, and they just pad out the rest of the volume. Instead, we have her just being honest up front and mature. They both have real issues they are struggling with, and they want to support each other and others around them. It's so refreshing and heartwarming. Here's to positive and supporting relationships. |
