| This is probably the closest we'll get to Kizuna AI when it comes to anime, with the unusual Wit Studio & Signal M.D. collab, this is definitely along the style to expect of Vtubers. The anime featuring a new generation of unproven talent of students who aspire to be Vtubers like Kizuna AI, and the central girl Miracle is one, having their own school in the form of ADEN Academy, delving into the virtual world. Most certainly, there are intriguing characters, like the handsome boy having teatime alone in the greenhouse, tnat temporarily distract Miracle from entering her class, where they're stressing the Lapin d'Or with Kizuna AI being the progenitor consequential winner, with the replacement winner Ada becoming a performer, then staff of the Virtual Grid Awards, after the former's disappearance 5 years ago, which Miracle still has that passion to feel that Kizuna AI's soul isn't all gone just yet. The animation done in the flex of usual 2D anime production and the 3D Vtuber style, it makes for a unique show with endless capabilities. This will be a standout show for sure. Definitely am interested to see where this will go. |

| story seems like a generic idol story. but ngl the Kizuna Ai scene at the beginning had some freaking good animation. I can kinda see now why they required WIT studio for this. Looks like all the 3d CG stuff is in their hands. If not anything, I will watch just the 3d dance scenes from this show and be happy with it. |

| Reading comments in the chat for useful advice. It's not very useful if you are a Vtuber with a large live audience though, if you are indie or a smaller corporate Vtuber, it's a good idea; unless the chat is filled with antis, even then you have to read the room, sometimes the chat is going to play simple tricks or trolls on you for a laugh. |

| As someone who watches a decent amount of Hololive, I hope to see some cameos or at least references. The show itself was pretty boring. Wouldn't be surprised if this just ends up as some publicity stunt to release a new batch of vtubers. |
| I honestly don't think it was that bad. The concept is interesting. It's basically another Idol anime but instead of becoming a Real Idol she want's to be a virtual one. And with V-Tubers being a big hit in the world it makes sense. I thought the insert songs were good so if we keep getting good music I am in on it. |

| Nothing ground breaking, the rejection was pretty funny, man seeing Kizuna takes me back, to think it has already been more than 5 years, I miss how comfy it was seeing daily videos of all those starting Vtubers, never been a fan of streams. |

| This anime is highly surreal and amusing to me for a variety of reasons. Also, did my bro just steal Sui-chan's "彗星のごとく現れた…" self-introduction thingy? Surely that must've been a reference to her, no? I don't know if this is going to be good or bad. All I know is that I had a bemused smile on my face for a majority of this first episode. I might just have a good bit of fun with this. |

| seems like lots of ppl here have 0 clue what idol-like anime are like lol (or just don't enjoy the usual slow start of them). guess that's too be expected... perhaps Wit shouldn't have picked this up if itd get this sort of attention Overall it's a decent start. the animation is actually quite good - the choreography does need work, however. definitely better than some CG anime ive seen (WuG S2...) Liking Miracle as well. let's see it through, perhaps it won't actually be a generic story like most ppl are saying... it's only one episode! |

It is also to be expected that people will get butt hurt due to people not sharing their opinions too. Most music theme shows start slowly and you don't have to be a IDOLM@STER or Love Live fan to know that this show is a bit cring. Both IdolMas and Love Live hook me in the first episode, this one made me cringe a bit. The animation and CG look fine, the choreography is very basic, nothing fancy or flashy like a well rendered MMD. Judging by episode one, the story is lacking for me and the name of Kizuna AI alone is not enough to hook me on episode one. |

| I have a lowkey like of Kizuna AI-- like I didn't keep up with her or anything, but I did mostly like the content that was posted with her if I happened to stumble upon it. So much so that when I come across kinda more amateur Vtubers/Virtual people (man idk terms, that's usually not my thing) I can't quite do it. Like, Kizuna AI was so professional as an entertainer in a way that helped build upon her character or what type of world they were trying to shape around her. Meanwhile, someone just using an a virtual avatar to play some games I honestly could just be playing myself or something just became bland. At that point, I would have just rather seen the actual person playing. I feel bad because so many of my friends do Vtubing, but I'm just like not interested because I'd rather just... play games with those friends and I'd be a lot more entertained.;; Like they usually don't do it to entertain, and that's fine, but also because of that I'd really rather just do something else. As someone who's generally really supportive of my friends, it really makes me feel bad that I can't quite connect enough to get onboard. All that being said (I swear I didn't ramble for nothing), this anime has taken all of that and turned it into something actually meant to entertain (much like many of Kizuna AI's videos), so it's a whole different perspective of Vtubing for me. Suddenly, you have a Vtuber who isn't just playing games looking cute or something but now we've put them into a plot that one might want to follow while still acknowledging that they're Vtubers. We perhaps get to see these Vtubers grow or go through... well, whatever it is they'll be going through. Just the idea of using these Vtubers to tell a story instead of having them just go about whatever thing they're streaming makes a big difference for me. It also gives me a better glimpse of what Vtubers are capable of. I know there are Vtuber idols who sing and dance, but I was always a lot more into real idols and respected what they could do offline with their human limitations. Yet the idea of Vtubers as actors is somehow something I can get behind. It's voice acting and using a virtual body at the same time, which doesn't actually seem like an easy task when it comes to making something actually look good with mocap. The added challenge is actually something I can respect out of them rather than just watching someone make faces and talk while playing a game or something. So this is pretty welcome for me. I've seen anime that have done this before, but usually they're either pretty comedic, tongue-in-cheek (they'll break the 4th wall), or just... not all that great when it comes to looks. This anime actually looks pretty good. I don't see a whole bunch of clipped arms or hair all the time like in the other anime that do this type of thing. As for the plot, so far this has been pretty standard for an anime (pretty much like an idol anime). Not groundbreaking, but it seems like they're trying to play with technology a bit so I understand wanting to keep things a little more simple. I feel the shift from Vtuber mode to our typical anime style all makes sense for what the anime is about. BUT I do feel like we got two OP songs. Perhaps they could have just kept Kizuna's song at the beginning and save the actual OP for another time, because back to back songs like that felt really weird. At first I thought the whole anime was just music videos until it really started. The main character is okay I guess. I oddly liked the small interactions the characters had with each other. I also enjoyed that Noelle rejected her. Had she accepted, I would have been really annoyed because wow that performance was boring. I feel like maybe part of that is because of the limitations of this technology. Perhaps she wasn't supposed to move much or else there actually WOULD have been a bunch of clipping, but in every way, that performance was a flop. I furrowed my brow when the other students were praising her saying it was so good. Hopefully they eventually address that. If it was actually supposed to be good then oof. I'm hoping a part of the plot is that there will be better performances than that. Also, the episode kinda ended abruptly-- it was just a weird place to end an episode on. Maybe if they didn't have two OPs then it would have had more time to deal with that. >>;; Oh right, I also liked the soundtrack oddly enough (like the background music). Like it all felt pretty fitting and sounded okay. I do like the idea of a Vtuber school in general though. This is something schools/agencies actually are starting to train people on. It's usually not a whole institution like this, but it's not too far off. I think most of the training happens at people's homes, but I guess a brick and mortar institute could work in the sense that they would have all the equipment and such their students need to work on their craft instead of requiring their students to buy such expensive equipment (much like if you're taking classes in something like video production-- you can just use the school cameras and high tech software on school computers). Not a bad idea and not completely far fetched in a futuristic sense I guess. Overall, I think it's a decent start. We'll see if it irons out some of those weird parts as it goes on, but even those weird parts aren't that bad I guess. |

| Kizuna the anime ! Its pretty cool for now, Idk why people are hating it, I suppose they just dont like 3D or VTubers, why even are they here I love VTubers, they changed a big part of the virtual world, so its nice to see an anime talking about it, and with the same 3D and rigging, even better than some 3D in other anime, Its fluid and pretty ^^ I dont really like idols anime, but it depends on the story, I'll continue watching it with Oshi no ko |
| The episode title is dead on accurate because this anime is "another Euphoria" because just like the hentai Euphoria, everything about what I've seen makes everyone want to vomit. And just like Euphoria, we have a bunch of cute girls put into a terrible anime. Though, oddly enough, even Euphoria is higher rated than this anime on MAL and AniDB. |
