Probably ending next week but legitimately these latest chapters and conflicts have been great. The author is super talented at both art and storytelling and so I hope their next work can capitalise on their strengths even more because this is some good stuff.

I'm starting to think that since Ginka had horns as a human, the "cat ears" he has currently are actually meant to be his horns.

I'm actually super disappointed, because this series had really great potential, and these plot points with the memory sacrifice magic, ginkas backstory, and how he chooses to try to be better, are actually really great. I wish they had been used in a manga which established the plot way earlier, didn't go monster of the week if it wasn't going to be capitalized on well, and didn't take it's sweet time establishing any direction. I'm excited to see their next work, but man, this potential being squandered is super duper disappointing man. Also, I think gluna and ginkas characterization of being socially inept and kinda selfish while being the "good guys", while interesting, actually severely hurt their characters within the story imo.

Damn it. The Nosferatu arc really proved to me this manga actually could be great, and the memory magic was really cool and had potential to shift the story in a new way, but now that’s all over.
