Our boys are back.

Interesting backstory. It was nice to learn how they formed their band.

Also, such a nice performance at the end.

Oh, the origin of JAXX/JAXX, they were in a much more difficult problem than Protostar, and I'm glad they succeed.

I'm surprised we got a backstory for JAXX/JAXX! At first I wasn't sure if I'd enjoy it, but it was a good episode. Meeting Gakuto changed everything for the original four people, he's a really charismatic character, and also already had an unique outlook and experience with music. Very happy that they went for the band route, STORM's EYE feels very much like a pop-rock song.

obsessed with Gauktos/Masas voice omg I can't stop replaying the beginning of Storms eye in my head I that immediately bumped up the score from a 6/7 I'm hoping for maybe 1 more performance from them and Legit

Watching the bands performance, once again I feel a bit miffed this show isnt full CGI 3D mocap, to keep the appearance consistency. There seems to be some janky 30+ frame per second moments. Its good overall.

Being a band in this epsidoe, comparisons will be made with Cloverworks' other recent production Bocchi, which had better animation quality in their performances, and they made everything 2D 12 frames-per-second to boot.

Music is outstanding however, after all Megacorp Sony SME behind all this. At time of this writing, the ED by Legit is out, and it utterly slaps.

Gold standard in 3D mocap remains with Sanzigen however, Bang 2nd Live utterly wrecks this. Not to mention the Poppin Dream movie, Circle Anniversary, Band S3 and Bang S2.
Even Bang Season 1, Episode 8, mocap performance from 2017 seems to be more pleasing to look at to me.

Gakuto's voice is so good!!! Also dang the last scene, the encore, is much better than the first ones😭
