| It seems all out of all prominent competitors, Manami may be the one most likely to take this race. We got more storytelling about Sakamichi again and his admiration for Makishima. He's a good role model for him. At this point, I think they were also trying to flesh out Makishima's character. Sakamichi himself had to deal with emotional distress yet again. |

| Another episode of flashbacks? I was hoping we'd actually get more than a couple of minutes of the actual race, but I suppose that was too much to hope for. I don't know, padding out the climactic final leg of the inter-high - something that they've been building up to not for this season, but the past two as well - seems like a terrible idea that just deflates much of the tension one could be feeling. At least from the next episode's title, we'll finally get a conclusion to the race. |

| that was a nice 1 min of racing, i skipped through the rest of the episode cose flashback 2 more episodes left, if ep24 has more flashbacks ima gonna give it a 2 and if last episode has flashbacks too its gonna be boku no pico level of bad |

| They've totally ruined the momentum of the race. That's awful. I truly was hoping they wouldn't do this to us ever since the episode when Midousuji caught up. damn shame I did like the Onoda backstory. I wish it had been earlier. It would have been nice to have known he was having trouble focusing also back when Mido caught up. |

| Man, all of this extra setup for Manami vs Onoda is unfair. Instead of being excited about who's going to win, I'm bracing myself for how to feel about the one who loses. Compared to their first year when they were riding free, this time it's about the weight of responsibility they both bear for the journeys that have led them back to this finish line. Disappointed Komari or Midousuji didn't make a surprise comeback though. I guess it's better this way considering the focus on Manami's & Onoda's development. |
