Guys, I have a question regarding Usio coming back to the future, after she erased hiroku existence on the past, why she did coming back to the future if she already erased it that time? I Know it was Usio shadow that given message to Hizuro and eye to shinpei, when timeline she came? I hope I can find the answer from you guys. Thanks.

I think when Haine killed Ryuunosuke n lost her eye, that eye become Ushio with the power to loop, then she looped back to give Shinpei that same power n told him to save Mio in the 1st ep.
As for the ending most likely Ushio bacome the new "God" (Hiruko's power) with that she could observes the flow of space n time, n she kept at it till she found the timeline where none of this ever happened.

Oh I see that's why she said "haine and I" in terms using looping power, I figured it out.. Thank you so much 🙂

What Ushio did doesn't erased the existence of the other world. It just create a world where goddess Hiruko doesn't exist.

So "That Summer" still exist and she has to saved it by giving Hizuru a voice mail and Shinpei her power, before she dissapeared.

The Ushio that fighting at the end of anime is coming from timeline 3, Hiruko and Haine as well.

ushio deleted the whale. which made a new timeline in which there are no shadows, so ushio isnt dead and shinpei and hizuru are going to the island but for different reasons.
