FUUUUUUUUCK now im pissed off

This was the first time in at least a year that I've even shown emotion other than laughing while reading a manga, I genuinely shouted NOOOOO when I read the dialogue. There's no way the author would build up and develop a character as good as Yuuko just to kill her off here. Off screen. Their best character.

Nah you shouln't worry about it, no matter what the mangaka decided to do for Yuko, we'll have some explanation for sure in the next chapters.

Even if Gen really killed her, he'll tell Reiji about it and we'll see how it happened in the forms of a "recent flashback", or maybe we'll learn more about it when a character finds Yuko's body etc...

But in my opinion, I don't think she died ? It depends, cause on one hand, her death could help the mangaka to bring his story to an end, and if he's aiming for a 15ish volumes manga, her death at this timing could make sense. However, on the other hand, keep in mind that it's Yuko we are talking about, aka the abyssal mother that manipulated gen ever since he was in middle school, it's not impossible that it's another scheme of hers to make sure Reiji remains in the city. ( She could have asked Gen to dress like that etc... )

Anyhow, can't wait to read the next chapters, and I hope the author knows what he is doing, because seeing Gen crossdressing out of the blue makes me fear for what will come next, I know it's a slippery slope for most writers and I'm not sure this story needed to add trans/lgbtq topics in the mix lol, we'll see !

At first, after finishing ch. 126, I thought that Gen might've been into crossdressing. Later, after reading few pages of ch.127, I began to think he might've been actually transgender. However now, after completing this chapter, it looks like he was neither. He just wanted to become the person he revered to the point of losing his mind - to be literally like Yuko, both in terms of look and relations to other people.

Very interesting chapter with surprising informations given to the readers regarding Gen.

Going back to Yuko, I hardly believe she was strangled to death by Gen and/or drown in that river. Perhaps she had the fortune by her side once again and somehow managed to survive.
