I can see why people be voting for s2 op, but after listening to each FULL song, gotta give it to both the movie songs, had to pull out all the stops for the finale of the series and even if the movie itself may not have been the best, mainly due to the source material that was being adapted, the songs definitely delivered, instrumentals for the OP were amazing and both had some fantastic harmonies and solo's by the girls after the point at which the song ended in the movie, while in the s2 intro idk I just felt like the harmonization fell off and got a bit annoying half way into it, still love the song tho. But I think if I had to choose I'd give it to the movie ED, it feels like it was the end off the movie, obviously, but it also truly made the movie feel like it was the end of the series as a whole, really think it was the perfect song to end off a romcom such as this where it ended off with a happy marriage and happy family, genuinely thinking about playing it at my wedding, if that ever happens 👹.

I still hate Yotsuba tho, wasted character who still somehow won, fight me ☠️☠️

The absolute best song is gotobun no katachi, it was one of the best songs of 2021, when season 2 dropped, it dropped with some heat, I’ve never heard another song from this series that even competes. I’m not gonna sugarcoat, I’m not gonna be like”oh but that doesn’t mean the other songs aren’t good”, no, I’mma keep it a buck, naw, a simple stack, naw, a stack solid, that song is something different and hits every time I listen to it, it reminds me nino is best girl and that I’m watching the best part of the series. No doubt season 2’s opening is the best there is in the series.
