The anime is scheduled to premiere on April 8 at 2:25 a.m. on MBS, TBS, and BS-TBS's Animeism programming block.Haruka Aikawa and Hitomi Sekine (Shinobi no Ittoki) are joining the cast as Koma Sakuraba and Koyuzu Koganei, respectively. J-rock band CodyLee performs the ending theme "Odoru Hikari." Takefumi Anzai (Hitoribocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu) helms the anime at C2C. Shougo Yasukawa (Shokugeki no Souma) is handling the series composition and penning the script. Takeshi Oda is designing the characters and Akito Matsuda (Hibike! Euphonium) is composing the music. The anime adapts Akihiko Higuchi's slice of life comedy manga, which began serializing in Shounen Magazine Edge in June 2019. Kodansha shipped the fifth volume on November 17, with the sixth volume scheduled to release on June 16.
