| Carlo got all dressed up in that kimono but same with Tomo. The anime made her glow to show her girly appeal LOL Looks like we got a classic festival episode because this anime needed one. I do like how hard Tomo tries to get Jun's attention though. And Misuzu can be quite scary when she's in a mood. Like really scary. |

| In the sequence of visiting each other’s house, the girls are at Tomo’s this time. As usual the duo of Misuzu and Carol had Tomo do something, this time having her invite Jun to a fireworks festival. Yes, after the beach, comes the fireworks festival. That age old mandatory event for any romcom. And not to say the inevitable, fireworks popping just at the right time ruined another one of those confessions coming… another couple to that cursed list. Though it wasn’t exactly like Tomo was going to say it anyways, we still have time for that. Now the case with Misuzu is a peculiar one, it isn’t like she doesn’t want Tomo and Jun together, she does but at the same time she values her friendship with Tomo equally. I guess we'll see more of her thoughts going forward from this point on. But for now let’s witness the usual high school thugs thing we see in netflix shows from time to time in anime… yes that pierced blonde dude again did something. This time abducting Misuzu. Nevermind Carol, the best girl was there just as a part of a buy one get one free deal. Also she carries an electric stunner with her… just saying. Misaki, dude getting super saiyan for his girl was FUCKING manly. Though it was a misunderstanding in the end but still. In the end it just took Misuzu a minute to have those thugs weeping like a kid lmao. She's really not normal, is she? |

| The bullies are back and again it didn't end well for them. Anyway Tomo is certainly popular amongst the festival staff the where really surprised with how she turned out, that didn't stop her from completing all the games tho. Tho again there where some guys trying to hit on her. |
| Let's just say that, that king game they have played could have ended in a way more nuclear direction than it did, lol. But anyway, the fireworks festival episode is here, yukatas, gold fish catching and all that we have known to be a part of these episodes is here. We also got a bunch of old dudes drooling over Tomo ... It is somewhat nice and funny, more and more to see Jun coping with the fact, like he's straight up there already xD |

| First half was quite disappointing, second half was great. Misuzu's new nickname for Carol is hilarious. The stuff that happens outside of Tomo and Jun's relationship seems infinitely more comical and awesome. |
| Whatever is going on between Tomo and Jun, it's relationship goals😩😩 They are so sweet and funny. Also, it seems like Jun didn't think Tomo said she loves him for real in the first episode, that explains a lot of things. However, I like seeing him slowly fall for his bestie, I hope it won't be an open ended story |
| Tomo looked beautiful in Yukata, Jun almost went for it there. Misuzu was brutal, she destroyed those thugs will. Also it was nice seeing Misaki getting all worked up over Carol. |

| Man what an episode. Obligatory Festival firework ep. Almost thought Tomo would confess there. Love she and Carol’s Yukata Got some valuable insight into Misuzu’s thought process with tomo and jun’s relationship. Haven’t seen her that vulnerable yet. Speaking of vulnerable. Glad those delinquent losers got their asses handed to them. Hopefully this will get them out of the picture for good. Knew Misaki senpai had to be hiding something. You don’t get that much respect in the martial arts club for nothing lol |

| Possibly my favorite episode so far, there’s been so much good so it’s hard to pinpoint one as the best lol. Loved the Summer Festival bit in the first half of the episode, one of my favorite types of episodes in anime and it was great here, Tomo looked amazing in her yukata and it worked on Jun which we witnessed first hand lol, she may have a glow up but she still “destroyed” every stall, and we almost got a fireworks confession but Tomo reeled it back a bit, but Jun was a changed man after it anyway lol. I also enjoyed the bits of Carol, Gundou and Misaki thrown in too, the mask bit was hilarious. And if the first half wasn’t enough, the 2nd half was also amazing, those assholes from before messed with Gundou and Carol and found out real quick what happens when you do that, really enjoyed the beatdown from Tomo and Jun, as well as Misaki’s unbridled rage lol. And man, Gundou really knows how to threaten people, she has the way of speaking and expressions down pat, love it lol. And speaking of Gundou, this episode made it apparent there’s a lot going on with her in regards to Tomo, I’m interested in learning more about it for sure. And I also want to mention the backgrounds were nice in this episode, especially in the 2nd half, I am a sucker for nice backgrounds. |

| Ah, the all-important fireworks episode... Carol's impression of Misuzu was perfect! Wish she kept it up. I half-forgot Tomo's voice actress is Rie Takahashi. Of all things, hearing Tomo's screams in this episode reminded me of that. She has such a great range. |
| Mochi onna hahahaha Must be scary to have feelings for your best friend, I actually can understand why they are both conflicted & dont wna confess or risk it & it’s not just dragging out for the sake of it. That moment at the fireworks & Tomo was deep in thought, that was a good scene I really felt it, I dont think I would do anything if I were in her shoes either. Anyw they drew Jun so hot this episode, the lighting looked so good…….. LOVE CAROL AS ALWAYS, MOCHI ONNA ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ I really like the moments Jun & Misuzu share, I think they get each other more than they’d like to think. Actually I like their dynamics, in AU, they’d probably make an interesting couple lol….. Great episode, I didn’t think I’ll enjoy this so much, now I’m looking forward every week. I’ll watch like spin-off of like the 3 girls and their daily antics hahahaa |

| Since we got a beach episode last week, its only natural that we get a summer festival episode. Carol and Tomo looked stunning in their Yukatas. Jun still hasn't figured out his own feelings for Tomo-chan and his strange behavior continues to send her mixed signals. A bunch of delinquents try to gang up on Misuzu only to get tased and beat up by Tomo and Jun. Misuzu seems to be playing both roles as wingman and Tomo's best friend and she seems hesitant to let her friendship with Tomo end if both Tomo and Jun become a couple. At the same time she resist the idea of being Carol's friend by calling her squishy bitch. Speaking Carol, she she seems to be getting more friendly with Misaki after he stood up for her even though it was misunderstanding. lol. |

| Carol is just the best, the whole show is basically progressing because of her and how she challenges the status, one would think Misuzu is the smartest and more plotting character but she found her match with Carol, I don't really understand why she decided to let go Misuzu's hand like that, can't see what's her endgame. |
| The girls are playing the Kings game and Misuzu says to Tomo to invite Jun to the fireworks festival, Jun ofcourse is glad to go alone with Tomo. The fireworks festival is super nice, seems like Tomo & Jun are regulars there, gotta admit the show made Tomo look cute in her kimono, there even was an romantic segment almost. Misuzu gets kidnapped or something by some thugs, Carol jumps in with her taser lmfao, and they sprint away, now Misuzu is asking Jun for help and Tomo knows Jun when something is going on so they make their way to the abandoned school to teach some thugs a lesson. I have never seen Misaki so angry though lmao, man was ready to kill someone but mistook it. Another amazing ep |

| Okay that Mizusu impression by Carol was spot on lol. Mizusu definitely got her revenge on Tomo for laughing by asking her to go with just Jun to the fireworks festival. Although Mizusu supports Tomo getting with Jun, you can't help but notice how the feeling of her best friend being 'taken away' will hurt her. Its not like Tomo will forget about Mizusu. Its just that she will spend a lot more time with Jun than her. She knows she has gone quite far with supporting her and can't turn back now. That fireworks festival. Bro all the stall keepers reactions to Tomo's look is priceless, he didn't even recognise her. Also Jun, struggling to figure out what these feelings he has are. We all know what they are tho. Mizusu and Carol make such a pairing as well. "squishy bitch'' lol, she says it like 3 times as well. Also the way in which Jun greeted Tomo after the festival with just the pinkie was kinda funny. Those punks as well, they will never learn their lesson I swear. Everyone in Tomo's friend group had their scary moment. Mizusu gave them a death stare and Carol straight up just whipped out a taser and shocked him. As expected Jun and Tomo come to the rescue with Misaki overhearing things. The scariest person tho was Misaki, bro even Tomo and Jun were like wtf. He defo would of killed the punk if they didn't solve the misunderstanding. That was a nice talk by Jun and Mizusu at the end and Tomo is elated that Jun is finally acting the usual around her again!! |

| Ah yes, the classic fireworks festival episode. I like how Misuzu was featured prominently in this episode and she plays a big role in the major conflict of the entire show.. I believe she still has feelings for Jun and I don't know if she will do something as she is Tomo's best friend but she is quite stubborn and always wants her way so it's a major dilemma for her. |

| God damn, the animation popped off for the second half! Great visuals, lots of small fluid details, interesting shot composition. Gotta keep an eye out for gifs! Carol is a chaotic queen; there's no way that tazer is street legal. And quite passive-aggressive, how dare Misuzu say they're not friends! Kudos to Jun for trying to honor Misuzu's request to not let Tomo know, but Tomo getting it out of him anyway. And she makes a good argument, she doesn't want to NOT help her friends! Great to see Misaki, who's happy to leave the violence to Jun and Tomo, until he thinks those thugs attacked Carol and has a real Beware the Nice Ones moment, to the point Jun and Tomo have to protect the thugs! And then Misuzu drops the bombshell for these idiots that they really need to leave Tomo and co. alone keep Tomo and co. safe for the sake of their own health and well-being. "You are not gonna die a pleasant death!" "Nor have I ever expected to." <3 I like how we got more focus on Misuzu this ep, and how Carol's trying to get her to address her conflicted feelings about Tomo and Jun (in an r/egg_irl way?), much to her annoyance.  Also... got clarification on this: Oh Jun, you dumb son of a bitch. |
| Maybe we'll get more background on Misuzu regarding what her goals are in regards to Tomo and Jun because on one hand it looks like she wants them to date but on the other hand she seems that she doesn't, she's conflicted and my 2 guesses are either she doesn't want to lose Tomo's friendship or she likes one of them more than just a friend (I'm leaning more towards Tomo than Jun if she likes one of them more than just a friend). |

| What does Gundou want? What is her objective? She has a long game, but how does she win? Is it just her friendship with Tomo-chan? Will Gundou be happy so long as she and Tomo remain a team? Is she simply afraid that she will be forgotten when Jun and Tomo finally pair up romantically? Of all the strong characters in this cast, Gundou may be the strongest. This is still the anime of the season for me. Every episode, I think: the manga was good, but the anime is better. I'm going to start rewatching now. |
| I think I can say for sure now that this is my favorite show of the season. Every episode Jun and Tomo get closer, and Misuzu and Carol become even better friends which is so sweet. Though Misuzu seemed kinda jealous in this episode? Where is her ship? :( |

| Such great moments (some of the best) to be ruined by poor direction of action sequences, sound effects, overall atmosphere of tone, soundtrack and awkward pacing of the dialogue. It's so fucking frustrating how badly this manga is being adapted. It reminds of ReLIFE. Another great romcom that was poorly directed as an anime. This anime pales in comparison to the original manga's charm and drama. |
