I can see that her technology is influenced by our worlds technology and their design but did I miss the part with memories from old world or dying and being isekaied. I could understand if the anime wants to take a different route than 99% of isekais but isn’t the “reincarnation” in the title unnecessary if there is a few to no hint/sign of a reincarnation or the reincarnation part doesn’t play a big role. |

If you noticed, there are some references in the first episode/chapter and also in the ED about a modern world which resemble our world, with buildings and vehicles such as cars and planes. Also, Anis was very young, like 5, so she may not remeber well her past life before she got reincarnated. (Sorry for errors) |

She is reincarnated, but what kind of reincarnation happened to her is up to the reader. Was it past memory only? Was it a full reincarnation of her past personality? Was she even a woman in her past life? Not explicitly explained, but you could find them if you look close enough. Most of her creations that related to daily life look like our home appliances and her logic about flying using a broom is just normal to her when other people don't understand. Also, some of her lingo choices are actually references to our world but yeah if you don't catch it or don't really understand Japanese it's normal. I don't know if the LN explained it explicitly but in the manga they show, even if it's only for a short amount of time, that she remembers living in our world before this. Tho yeah I understand why you're confused. We don't see her monologue about her comparing her past life to her current life, or her past regret, or the like really. We only know that she wants to fly and to do so she is researching Magicology since she can't use any spirit magic. |
