Should I watch the OVA before the anime

Nah u can watch it I would also recommend watching Tokyo Babylon before this as well if you haven’t already

The OVA is honestly a glorified trailer but yeah it was released before.

Also I second having Tokyo Babylon knowledge but the TB OVAs are original stories, read the manga if you can

Watch the anime instead it has lot more story to cover and its as close as you can get, for a complete x story.

The movie will probably be easier to understand if you already know the characters. But I really don't like the TV series at all.
