Horrible censorship which makes it unwatchable

I remember buying the DVD years ago and it was heavily censored, i felt ripped off.

I don't get why in the sub version, they have a beep sound and the word beep. It should be uncensored if not change the word.

I would like to see a proper remake because no wonder it didn't do so well

Language in the dub wasn't censored, but a lot of the gore was, at least in the version I watched. I hate gore censorship in anime.

Such an awesome manga. A shame it wasn’t popular, even with this anime. Really would like to see a Brotherhood treatment someday, but that’s very unlikely. Oh well. Anyone who was disappointed with the anime, read the manga.

Love the manga, it’s the only manga I have read twice 😅 - the anime had so much potential, and some are ofc wasted. I have ether seen the uncensored version. If some crazy people hungry want to make a remake, I’m all for it. Gue and more details are more okay now. - but overall I really enjoyed the universe and the story in the manga. The anime is over mid, and I can re watch it every 2 years :)

Bro another reason why the dub is betta. They be cursing for days in the dub.

I’m gonna make a YouTube series later this year discussing what anime deserve “The Brotherhood Treatment.” DW is the first series I’m going to talk about. This makes me excited to see people are thinking the same as me so I’ll have at least a bit of an audience.

I suggest sailing the seven seas. If I recall, only the OP was censored and that wa due to Japanese law. There are versions out there that are completely uncensored (except for the OP).

consider reading the manga, i just finished it and it's great! Deadman Wonderland as an anime is unfinished and doesn't get much into it, less than half, and it would either never continue or reboot due to the removal of a significant character. I recommend giving it a read

The only thing I remember about the anime is whoever subbed it translated what a guy was saying as "Damn right" when he was telling a kid to address him with "-san."
