Episode was meh. I feel like Xiao Fan isnt progressing and the story shifted to side characters. I understand world building and such, but its episode 24 already in a 26 episode season, how much info can they cram in the last 2 epi. The anime started well but now it's stagnant and going nowhere relative to the MC

i thought this was a pretty cool episode

excited to see what the deal is with this sword. why was it prohibited to be used by the sect? but also, the sect leader is already injured. no way he's capable of getting the full power of the sword? and/or he's still destined to die? idk, just guessing

why does the monkey stick kid think that traitor attacked his village? also with mc, we keep getting these glimpses of him being engulfed in red aura and acting more demonic, but nothing ever really comes of it. they don't really explore that much or develop it further. that one female senior was clearly terrified by what she had just seen and was contemplating whether or not she would have to take mc out

mystery senior saves dragon sword kid. is he the person who was "dead" for 100 years? the prior sect leader or something? the one the traitor was so upset about earlier in the episode? and the traitor killing off his entire sect because his friend died? that's a bit extreme

surely that monk can't die from a single stab wound, can he? that's super weak

Any chance Xiaofan is going to progress at all? Or is he just going to be a whiner for the next 2 episodes plus the next season?

So sick of him, I fast forward through every scene he's in as he's just NOT interesting.

The rest of the donghua is amazing. It just needed a more interesting protagonist, as every side character is more intriguing than him at this point.
