Can this anime be a contender for anime of the year for me it feels like it was and anime that stood out from the others and has the potential to become anime of the year.
But what do you think.

Personally would choose bleach:tybw for aoty with csm and aot s4p2 being 2nd and 3rd

My personal favorite of the year was prob either Kaguya-sama or Bleach TYBW but knowing the fact that everyone and their mom is addicted to AOT that’ll prob win anime of the year

Cyberpunk was good don’t get me wrong but seeing how many good shows/seasons there were this year don’t be disappointed when it (probably) doesn’t win Anime of the year

it would be csm but i’m pretty sure it won’t be in the awards because of when it released or smth.
But my top 2 is csm and blue lock. Especially after reading the manga of both. Bocchi is decent tho

Definitely up there even though it wasn’t my favorite new anime of the year it was my number 2 behind summertime render and I wouldn’t be upset at all if it won

Nah.I get it like actions and unique theme but plot and characters are not there.AoT,CSM and Kingdom exists so i don’t give it a chance

It truly depends on what genre you are into. Also when you say “best anime of the year” do you mean a new anime that was amazing this year or an anime that is a sequel or like a new season? Cause that is different. People would obviously say AOT simply because it’s a story that continued from an already well rated anime. If you talk about Kaguya-Sama it’s the same. Now cyberpunk was overall a solid 9/10. Now if it’s the best anime of the year is a controversial thing. I’d say for sure tho that the animation, the art style, the characters, the music, even the plot which wasn’t anything too special, make it an amazing show to watch. But it’s true that there weren’t many other shows that just got an adaptation and they were that good. I guess chainsaw man could be a good example as well tho.

My favourite was probably AOT, with Bocchi and Kaguya tied for close second. Edgerunners is great though!

Cyberpunk was awesome, but I feel like people are forgetting about Made In Abyss S2 and Mob Psycho III.
My top 5s proly Made in Abyss, AOT, Kaguya Sama, Mob and Cyberpunk.
(just an opinion)
Totally forgot CSM existed RIP Cyberpunk (top 5: Made in Abyss, AOT, CSM, Kaguya and Mob - not necessarily in order)
