'Watashi no Yuri wa Oshigoto desu!' Reveals Additional Staff, Theme Songs, First Promo

The official website of the Watashi no Yuri wa Oshigoto desu! (Yuri is My Job!) television anime revealed additional staff, theme songs, the first promo, and a key visual (pictured) on Saturday. The anime is set to broadcast in April 2023.

Assistant Director: Takashi Ikehata (Tsuki ga Kirei)
Art Director: Yukako Ogawa (KLAS) (Kimi no Suizou wo Tabetai), Yuri Takagi (KLAS) (Future Card Buddyfight)
Color Design: Arisa Komatsu (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Gou)
Director of Photography: Suguru Shiga (Studio Twinkle) (Washimo)
CG Director: Yoshikazu Suzuki (Tiger Mask W CG work)
Sound Director: Ryousuke Naya (Bokutachi no Remake)
Sound Effects: Katsuhiro Nakajima (Swara Pro) (Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi)
Music: Megumi Oohashi (Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakama-tachi)

Singer and voice actress Yui Ogura (Jahy-sama wa Kujikenai!) is performing the opening theme "Himitsu♡Melody." Sumire Uesaka (Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san) and Ogura are performing the ending theme "Yume ga Samete mo," as their respective characters, which is previewed in the promotional video below.

Hijiri Sanpei (Joshikousei no Mudazukai) is directing the anime at Passione and Studio Lings. Taisuke Iwasaki (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Gou sub-character design) is handling the character design.

The anime series adapts Miman's girls love manga, which began serializing in the Comic Yuri Hime magazine in November 2016. Ichijinsha shipped the 11th volume on November 17.

Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English in July 2018. The ninth volume went on sale on July 26.

Passione? But this is not a fetish yuri manga, why this studio? Or do they think yuri is the default moe show with tons of fanservice?

Passione doesn't necessarily = ecchi. They made some non-ecchi shows too (like "Wasteful Days of High School Girls" and it's the same director).

Citrus was also not overly fancervisy. And, as said above, they only made a bunc of ecchi staff recenly.

I think in the case of Citrus, the source material wasn't that good either. I didn't read Watayuri but I trust Passione to be true to source material, and the trailer didn't look bad imo.

I think in the case of Citrus, the source material wasn't that good either. I didn't read Watayuri but I trust Passione to be true to source material, and the trailer didn't look bad imo.
I don't think they will distort the original material. I'm confused by the very attitude to the genre.
