| Felt kinda pointless, to be honest. On its own and if viewed before the series, it might've been something notable like many one-shots from the day. But outside of the final act with Galient going buckwild, there wasn't really anything noteworthy. I even found those fight sequences somewhat lackluster despite the brutality, but they are a masterclass showpiece of animation. The new mech designs were cool and Hilmuka was bootylicious. 6.5 slice-o-matics /10 |
