Does this have any fanservice, I'm trying to get my friend into anime and thought a lesbian story would be good but I want to know if there is any fanservice or over sexualization of their relationship.

There is mildly sexual content including some arguably nonconsensual stuff but it’s done tastefully and condones bad stuff as bad.

Not really unless you consider a lot of kissing to be fanservice. This is honestly probly the best written yuri anime out there so ur friend shld like it

The anime doesn't even cover that part of the manga as well, so it's even more fine.

No fanservice nor too explicit scenes, it has some molestation, but that's part of the story you know? Just make sure to know the stuff you watch, and I hope you like the show :)

Just so you can get a rough idea:
There's stuff like Sakura Trick, that, while there are no explicit sexual scenes, there's a """focus""" on the characters' body parts, such as innecessary boobs bouncing scenes.
And then there's stuff like Yagate Kimi Ni Naru, which, again with no explicit sexual scenes, there's more a focus on the characters' development.

Both of them have kisses, sometimes sexual connotations, but the main difference is that one goes more for the fanservice than the other.

TL;DR: wholesome yuri story. There's also Asagao to Kase-san, which is an hour long OVA that also has that wholesome theme. Recommended to watch along with YagaKimi :) though the story is quite meh at times compared to the first one

it's only one thing(kisses) and happens every episode but it's more based on the relationship aspect than physical aspect

No I’ve watched this like 3-4 times it’s a great yuri with basically no fanservice. The plots quite unique and characters are lovable. (I also think the op and Ed are good imo)

I think the worst thing in terms of fanservice is one bath scene (which is brief and nonsexual) and one scene involving a kiss with tongue. If you and your friend are good with that, please enjoy the show! It's one of my favorites.

As others have stated... It very good and definitely a must watch... Dunno where i have been but missed this the past 4 years... But i binged watched it in 1 sitting... I just wanted to see what happens.... It literally wanted me feeling like i wanted more
