Not gonna speculate whether we’ll get a full adaptation or not. But if we were to get one, and it kept the same pace as the first season, it would be around 4.5 seasons, or 9 cours

There are 26 volumes. I have only read until Volume 19 because the rest has not been translated.

The anime covers until Volume 6. But it cuts a lot of important content between Volume 4 to Volume 6 (Demon Eyes, Zenith’s sister, why Eris left). It also cut content in the first 3 volumes but those aren’t really important (how Paul and Zenith met, what happen to Ghislaine after calamity).

Season 2 is adapting Volumes 7-12, so there should be 3 seasons for the remaining 14, although I'm not quite sure how they're going to structure those seasons.

All I know that is that I would love to see Volumes 22-26 be the final season collectively.

considering the studio behind this was made solely for the production of Mushoku Tensei and how dedicated the animators seem to be about the series, even fighting over who gets to animate certain scenes, I would assume it's gonna get close to a full adaptation. I really hope so too 😭😭😭

4 seasons with 8 cours with a movie to adapt the final 2 volumes. Thats what I think.

Based on what I know about the remaining content, I think volume 17 would be the best stopping point for season 3; since they would only be adapting five volumes instead of six in this case, it could also be a good opportunity for them to cover some of the important side stories that they may skip over. Unless they pull an Attack on Titan: Final Season and make season 4 the equivalent of three cours, I think it should just adapt 18-23, leaving 24-26 for a one cour final season or films.
