It's a remake with some changes in character designs to make it more 90s-ish, but overall it's the same thing. It tells the story from the beginning (how Arale was created) and from there Dr. Slump doesn't really have much of a plot, it's pretty episodic with a few short arcs here and there. I'm almost done with it (probably gonna finish it today and write a review) and I've read the manga too so I can say it's worth it. |
