on his way out of blood sect and into lingxi, mc comes across a border village using the same tree demon thing technique from many years ago by the luochen family. the village tells them that it was the du leader who makes them do it. so mc has learned about that plot though i'm unsure if he's pieced everything together

he makes it back to lingxi. meets the sect leader. meets the pink hair girl. his turtles are still the top mark in the 10 stele tests. uncle li in seclusion seeking a breakthrough of some sort
