The anime will adapt the game's main story from the very beginning, its newbie friendly!! Everyone can watch this anime without prior knowledge to the game, it can even be a good introduction to those who want to try out the game.

I’m here for it, honestly. The art style also feels oddly novel, though that could be because it’s been a hot second since I’ve seen anything with a bleak setting.
With all that being said, the audio mixing in this trailer leaves a lot to be desired (as cool as the voice-acting is) and I’m just hoping that they’re not throwing the opening at us and then the rest of it will actually move at like 2 frames a second …
God knows it’s not really enough to get me back into playing the game since I’ve just hit that obnoxious Grind(TM) plateau.

It will adapt weaker part of the story but it was a beginning and tbh it's not bad either, with animations it may be nice start to know the world for newbies.
