become suddenly op or have killing mind, just find another anime. It's not anime for you. MC is normal high school with bit good trained body but he suddenly asked to become ninja. And his behavior and action based on from his sense of justice. It mention tho by headmaster of ninja school, ninja must have two component both sword and heart and MC still lack sword component. Anime still airing, it's too fast decided MC won't have development. If you don't have that much patient, find another anime fit for you than rant about this anime and MC.

if the story gonna improve like for example his mother and all poeple in his clan has been slain by koga. he need train to use ninja tools by himself, his friends and headmaster of the school turn out backing up with koga, and his gonna take revenge alone torturing, slaying one by one koga clan member until they begging to die and until koga clan member extinct.

this will be more interesting for me.

but seems its not gonna be that way... LOL

I get you. People hating on him, for being ignorant when all the fault lies with his mother keeping him in the dark. He was just told to become a ninja, like he had been preparing for it his whole life. How does anyone expect a normal kid to start taking up a role he just learned of.(he wasn’t taught nada, not the vendetta, nor his family lineage)

bruh I'm so fucking irritated when people just started watching the anime and come with stupid shit like oh he's not op and smart from start we gonna drop this anime nobody is forcing anyone to watch this if you want an anime where the is op and from the start just watch another its so irritating only 3 episodes in he's not op he's not smart dropping this the was living a normal life his family hid everything from including him being in mortal danger now he must become a chief for his village and the childhood who has alot of ninja skills just leaves him to figure it out on his own

Honestly, I don't blame the MC for living an ordinary and sheltered life. His mom just didn't prepare or train him well on becoming a ninja. And she's the blame for MC's incompetent on the sword component of being a ninja. The MC was just forced into the ninja life by accident and all hell broke loose.
I feel with enough training and time, he will be competent enough to develop as a ninja. He's just a noobie right now and that's ok.

That's EXACTLY why this premise is dogshit. Why that dumbass mother of his decided to hide everything from him until AFTER the Kouga attacked him is beyond me. Who the fuck in their right minds would hide everything from their kid instead of training him from a young age? What harm would telling him sooner do?

Also, the way Ittoki is just accepted into the academy even though he clearly failed the exam is pure lazy writing. The principal or whoever that old guy is literally accepted him "just because" I guess…

Yeah, definitely not wasting any more of my time on this shit show. Even the OP is mediocre. If there's one thing I learned from another lame original like A Lull in the Sea, it would be that it's okay to stop watching a shit show if you truly sense that it will only get worse.

Thing is it's not just the sword component he's lacking, but the heart component as well. If you ask me everyone is babying Ittoki, even after the ninja thing came to light.

I'm only on ep 6, but the lack of character development for Ittoki so far, really does this anime a major disservice. Hope they improve it at least a little by the end.

The MC just sucks too much...

He isn't showing ANY competence at all at really anything and everyone else is just babying him through it all.

Yes I fully understand he was thrust into the ninja world with no knowledge of it, doesn't change the fact that the MC is boring as hell and doesn't look to be developing in any significant way.

He is just going to blunder his way through everything with all the other characters propping him up.
