First of all, the episode title: "Beyond the Todd". THE Todd? Alright then..

Pretty decent episode, featuring the first fairly major character death in quite a while. Predictably much of the episode centers on Todd's last stand. You'd think by now he would have realized going hyper isn't necessarily a good thing, but Todd's been so consistently incompetent throughout the show that I guess it shouldn't come as a surprise.

When Musy was ordered to withdraw by Shot my initial reaction was "Why does he show the fairly competent Musy this kind of disrespect, especially in front of that arrogant, incompetent windbag Todd?". But it looks like Shot was fully expecting Todd to fail and die, and wanted to teach Musy a valuable lesson: don't be like Todd.

I will say I was kind of expecting Todd to switch sides at some point in the series, possibly during the final battle. I was wrong.

Farewell Todd. I'd like to say I'll miss you, but I'd be lying. I couldn't wait to get beyond the Todd myself.

My feelings exactly. Surprised Tomino waited so long to take him out.

Good episode. Show gets saved by his ladies pulling him back from the brink.
