I find it interesting how the 3 other art pieces that we get to see all focus on a very specific interpretationof guilt with guilt of the dead, guilt for straying from nature and guilt derived from success. Yatora's piece on the other hand focuses on a much wider lens, quite literally capturing the very core and reason for guilt's existance, in a way incapsulating all the other pieces at once. By working with No-marks and seeing the immence influence of Fuji-san it seems as if he manages to notice more vividly the effect others have on his perception and eventually his art, thus this piece becomes a lot more about capturing his perception and less a product of said perception. It's the fact that Yatora technically dove deeper then the rest that impresses Inukai-sensei and that's also the reason why he keeps using the "surface level" critique for the rest. By the end of the chapter Inukai even reveals why he is so interested in the anti-authoritarian exibits, as they prove to himself that he is right. Overall it's a solid conclusion to the arc where we finally see Yatora get his first bit of recognition in the university and where he learns that a key feature of art is not just about diving into a thematic and finding interesting ideas, it's also about digging deep into the reason for the thematic's existence and using what you find to express a deeper part of humanity.

The art pieces from the other students basically felt like a "set-up" to Yaguchi's piece. Every single one of them broke apart "guilt" and took a piece of it, explained it and that's about it. Yaguchi on the otherhand took "guilt" itself and explained the very meaning of it. No-Marks expanded his thoughts process. Fuji is definitly someone who's gonna be a very important character, espically when we see No-Marks returning some day in the future. Inuka-sensei does know for a fact that it is a group that will return for sure, the sole reason for that is because of HER. Well, it's the first time that Yaguchi got a good impression on his work by Inuka-sensei, the first step of him turning into a new leaf.

Damn such a strong chapter, one of my favs. For some reason I was really uncomfortably anxious throughout this read, but what a relief that Yaguchi pulled through (his presentation regarding interpretation of guilt & sins was kinda incredible).

Quite an interesting piece made by Yatora, glad it got good evaluation from Inukai sensei. Also I really hope to see Fuji around, she's one of the most interesting character in this series.

Next volume cover will have Fuji on it for sure and I'm really looking forward to seeing it.

One of my favourite chapters. Not surprised to see yatora get the good evaluations, his piece was indeed the best.

I really do like inukai sensei. Ofcourse, him rejecting art from non college affiliates is his negative quality. But people aren't perfect at the end of the day. His first evaluation of shallow and easy to understand things not leaving lasting impressions was absolutely accurate. That's how any art hits honestly.

And it was nice to see yatora actually get praise for once.

Took a long time indeed but for the first time ever Yaguchi's evaluation went the normal way unlike the usual dramatic turn. Though he's to praise himself for that, meeting those new personalities over the course of last few months shaped his very way of interpreting things around. Result, despite being inexperienced he nailed the installation piece.

They should bring back Fuji sometime again.

Ah that went exceptionally well.

We won't see Fuji anytime soon. Glad her departure took place on a good note.
